Singapore Expands 2025 Household Aid, Know About $300 CDC Voucher and Upto $850 In GST Aid

Singapore has rolled out a stronger support package for 2025 to help families cope with living costs. The new plan combines Community Development Council (CDC) Vouchers and Goods and Services Tax (GST) Vouchers, offering both broad and targeted financial relief. The initiative reflects the government’s aim to ensure affordability and protect citizens against inflation pressures while supporting local spending in neighbourhoods.

Broader Support for All

The CDC Voucher Scheme continues as part of the Assurance Package, providing 300 dollars to every household in 2025. The vouchers are designed to reduce daily expenses and boost local commerce by encouraging residents to shop within their communities.

All households with at least one Singaporean citizen qualify automatically, regardless of income or property type. Seniors, single parents, and new homeowners can claim the vouchers through the CDC portal using Singpass. Residents without digital access can approach their nearest Community Centre for assistance.

Targeted Help for Lower Incomes

The GST Voucher programme focuses on Singaporeans most affected by rising prices. To qualify, citizens must:

  • Be aged 21 or older in 2024
  • Have an annual assessable income below 34,000 dollars for 2023
  • Reside in a home with an annual value of 25,000 dollars or less
  • Own no more than one property

This ensures benefits reach those with greater financial needs, easing the burden of everyday expenses and helping families maintain stability.

Claiming Your 2025 Benefits

The government has made the process straightforward for all citizens.
CDC Vouchers can be claimed digitally via Singpass or collected in print form at Community Centres. These vouchers are valid for use at participating outlets until 31 December 2025.

GST Voucher payments will be made automatically to existing beneficiaries. New applicants or those updating bank and property information must submit their details on the GSTV e-services portal before 20 June 2025.

Benefits by Home Value

For GST Vouchers, the support amount depends on property value. Citizens in homes with an annual value up to 21,000 dollars receive 850 dollars, while those in homes valued between 21,001 and 31,000 dollars get 450 dollars.

Boosting Economic Confidence

By combining CDC and GST vouchers, Singapore ensures both community-wide and targeted relief. The strategy helps families manage rising expenses and supports small local businesses through consistent neighbourhood spending.

These measures highlight Singapore’s continued focus on financial security, inclusivity, and stability for all households. Citizens are encouraged to redeem their vouchers promptly to fully benefit from the 2025 relief package.
